Just read the last two pages and my conclusion is..............

1. My brain hurts

2. You lot are far to intelligent for simple me.

3. I am very scared of when Dee has time to post back.

4. I am now going to find somewhere dark to hide.

I agree with all of these, Slodge!! Off we go to hide!!

Let x=y.

x - y + y = y

x - y + y y

--------- = ---

x-y x-y

y y

1 + --- = ---

x-y x- y

1 = 0

Now we know that 1 = 1, so add the following three equations together:

1 = 0

1 = 1

1 = 1

Result:

3 = 1+1

Edit - bugger, can't get the letters to stay where I put them!

But what if x didnt equal y?

Bloody Nora, all.

Why do I always make my day off so frickin' busy?

So far today, I have:

1. Done the ASDA shop - how in the Weather Gods' names do three teenagers consume this much?!

2. Walked my doggie in the woods and fields - whilst sneakily catching up with NFR NFC and other threads

3. Been for a 7.5 mile run - far too quickly. Damn my competitive Type A personality

4. Mowed the grass - sadly not that kind...that's for June!

5. Made a scrummy looking chicken casserole for tea

6. Hung the laundry out - only for there to be a bit of r***. Bugger off, I have smalls to dry!

I'm just catching up here, whilst listening to Spiritualised Live at the Albert Hall, and waiting for John Bishop (no, not that one) to arrive to fix the sustain pedal on the piano. Which is a First World problem, if ever there was one!

Got my weekend on duty starting tomorrow (boo), but that only leaves one more of them pre-Glastonbury (yay!).

The maths from earlier was mind-blowing, and the reason I ducked out of AS (the old type) Maths, as calculus was my nemesis. And I don't believe a word about Dee being Scary Lady®...I bet she's a pussycat!

How is everyone else?

Ben

    • Cool, if potentially completely exhausting, idea.
    • We don't have any choice but I don't need a t-shirt for it! 🙂    On the bright side, it gets it out of the way for a nice 5 year run... notwithstanding wars, new contagious diseases and apocalypse.
