Most important, though, is the fact that today marks the day which is 25 weeks and 5 days since the end of Glasto 2014, and 25 weeks and 5 days until Glasto 2015! Woohoo! We're closer to the next one than the last one!

WOOOOOOAH everyone!!!! stop this small talk of snow and houses..........Mr Grumby has just told us something magical. Something we should all be celebrating. 25 weeks and 5 will go down and the big one will be here before we know it. :girlwink:

I'm new to this.. I'm guessing what a 'finbarr' is but exactly what is a 'finbarr' and what does it stand for..I'm thinking this thread is a little bit too intellectual for me maybe!!! Especially as I'm back to being a blonde

I have never been called intellectual before!!

You will fit in well here if:

You are slightly mad - which is the new normal

You have a fun attitude

I think you will fit in well and you make a change from all the gingers.

Wowser Yog, that looks incredible! Where did you book it?

It's one of the Landmark Trust properties - see the link below. Note - some of the properties are so keenly sought after that you have to book them up to two years in advance eg. I booked Kingswear Castle for 2015 to celebrate my wedding anniversary before I had even got married. I have also booked Clavell Tower for 2016 already!

Is it wrong of me, on a forum about Glastonbury festival, to say that sometimes Stonehenge really pisses me off? Over an hour to get 3 miles from Solstice services to just past the stones, and in total a journey from South London to somerset took 5 1/2 hours when it normally takes 3.

Bloody knackered now.

That nice big tunnel will sort it. After 10 years of really bad roadworks.

Eventually we will run out of party food. Eventually.....

Heaven knows what the kids will eat then?

Where we are there are 4 adults (aka big kids) and enough party food to last til summer!!!

I think I shall have to diet next week.

Pleased to report he demise of the manflu in me and Mrs mattyc

Perhaps we might have a beer or three tonight - at last!!

Christmas officially done.

Off to Holland tomorrow for New Year.

Oh yeah...

Hope you have a good one in Holland Woffy. We have hired a housboat in Amsterdam for a few days in April when the city will be celebrating Kings Day. I have been before when it was Queens Day (before Queen Beatrtix abdicated) and it was a real scream. We can ill afford it, but I just had to show my wife what the party there is like.

Glad the nasty flu bugs are being beaten, the Christmas's 1,2 and however many you lot need to celebrate are in full swing and have a fab time in Holland Woffy!! I'm getting so giddy for 2015 and my calendar countdown to my second Glastonbury!!! I only planned on the 'one' just to say I had been and now I can't imagine not being there!!!!

    • I honestly didn't know it had, I still thought it was where the view overlooked the lake and view.   I think my decision not to attend this year at least was justified. Biffy was the big draw but after Finsbury I knew they wouldn't play what I want to hear again and well work also got in the way. Believed interesting to hear if Libertines were any good as they were also a pull but Sunday did nothing for me really with all my acts on Friday and Saturday.

    • Knocked Loose have been announced for Wacken, that's them at Bloodstock as well   I think they'd headline over Malev
    • I hate tradmill running with a passion lol. Yeah the 1km reps are the one along with hill reps. That's what I did last time.  It's very a very hot summer and job circumstances to stay at the consistent level I was for the marathon earlier in the year. I've got a full set of the main distance new PBs this year. 10k isn't a problem most days but even today I went out deciding just over 5 mile was enough between recovery cruise and steady.
    • There is also a solid argument from Seventeen already that not enough people actually care if they book them also.
