Those rants are quite odd. If there had actually been a link in them, I'd have strongly suspected some kind of malware attack. Maybe the forum strips links out of posts based on some sort of rules. Might ask Neil in the morning.

If it's not a malware/spam attack, then I really feel sorry for the man.

Just offered the number for Samaritans. Hope it's used.

I miss all these rants due to being dragged off to bed!

The events of yesterday marking those of 70 years ago do indeed show the world it needs to change it's track.

Far too many people are being drawn into the same paths as were travelled long ago - all based on ignorance and fear driven by falsehoods.

We must never forget, and not just the Holocaust but all events of violence against any group.

Agree hugely

A few years ago I did visit auschwitz and my god it was one of the toughest things I have ever done. When you see it with your own eyes..... If anyone gets the chance to go please do. We must remember

Pretty darn windy here in old Tamworth...blasted thing howling through the walls

ps...what or who is ranting that you keep mentioning? Am I missing something....

Cheers

There is someone who comes on at night - I have never seen it and it all gets deleted.

More than likely spamming but it is all based around depression etc I think.

    • Pressure will be shifted to Israel, but don't think anything is going to happen this side of the election.
    • It's encouraging news, but Israel's withdrawal from Gaza will very much depend on how credible Hamas's commitment to completely disarm is.   In my view they are right to be skeptical.
    • Now we’ll see if Israel are actually capable of winding their necks in    I doubt it
    • Policing is very relaxed, provided you stay within your lines I'd say. I don't think we're supposed to have an event shelter as well as a tent next to our van, but we've done it without issue for years. It's a happy vibe up there.
    • Do feel a lot more cynical about the Mercury now. Given the awards show is now an arena event, there's clearly a pressure on them to nominate mainstream acts in order to sell tickets for it. And not saying that Jade and Knats don't deserve to be nominated (haven't listened to either), but the fact the event is in Newcastle can't have nothing to do with that... (not to mention Fender winning last year, which frankly was a joke)    Hard not to agree with this: https://www.clashmusic.com/features/this-years-mercury-prize-is-a-pivot-towards-the-mainstream/
