I actually thought that the sound quality was better than last year - it's just some of the presenters that were driving me crazy. If you've got it recorded, you can skip through their bits and enjoy the rest. :)

The streams are excellent though. Live streams running all day on pyramid and other, coming on a little later in the afternoon for JPT, West holts and the park. I haven't seen hide nor hair of a media darling, just flicking between stages on the streams.

I think rhe coverage has been ace. Listened to radio all day. Watched the streams just watching Robert plant now. Only presenter I've seen in Mark Radcliffe introduce plant plus about 5 Munites of Greg James before I turned it off :-)

I feel Ricky Wilson (Keiser Chiefs) is getting a bit over exposure. He played two sets, Other Stage and John Peel Stage, was guest on Fridays One Show (live from Glastonbury) for 1 hour and now has just popped up on BBC3 in competition to guess mystery guest.

Not sure if he was not involved with that silly Voice program we would see quite so much of him on the BBC.

Jack White stream on BBC red button kept freezing and chucking me off so gave up in the end, recorded the highlights of his set and will watch it after Metallica. Watched the Robert Plant highlights though and really, really enjoyed it so gonna get a ticket to go see him in Newcastle.

I set up the web feeds on my Plex server. Didn't figure out until late yesterday but today has been great. No presenters, full sets, and flip between stages as I wish.

It's so good I can't help but think that the BBC won't do it again. Not that it will matter as i will of course be there next year.

Just wanted to add.....I think the " BBC coverage " has been brilliant. Watched a few of the streams and we are getting the full sets from the headliners " live ". Agree that some of the presenters are tossers but use that time for a fridge run. Obviously can`t compete with being there but imagine the BBC pulled out ( I mean if you didn`t have a ticket ).

Can someone tell me please how to get the live feed for Massive Attack tonight on the other stage ? Thanks very much.

PS that Gemma bird stated that they had just had the worst storm Glastonbury had ever seen lol I beg to differ ! I rang my mate who I am supposed to be there with and he just laughed and said "what do you think" lol

    • Another one from Sheffield DocFest this weekend, Earth Wind & Fire docu, directed by Questlove. Sensational archive footage, contributions from band members, family, plus a lot of very big fans (Stevie, Lionel, Flea, the Obamas) and a warts n all assessment of the genius / flawed human being that was Maurice White. Also, I never realised he started out as a jazz drummer with Ramsay Lewis. Well worth a watch.
    • In a 6,800-word Substack essay, external, the Clacton MP said "anti-white racism was embedded into the state", and that legislation aimed at equality was a form of "social cleansing"   .https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdjkd4mp93zo   The privileged white c**t hasn’t got a clue what racism is.
    • BBC iPlayer: Will serve as the main hub for past sets, including both recent hits and iconic archival gems. You can explore the BBC iPlayer to watch curated compilations, "Best of Glastonbury" recaps, and on-demand replays of historic headline performances. [1, 2, 3] TV Broadcasts (BBC Two & BBC Three): The channels will air dedicated compilation shows. Leading up to the weekend, you can watch archive programming such as Glastonbury: 70s Legends, 80s Legends, and 90s Legends on BBC Two. [1] Radio & BBC Sounds: Pop-up Glastonbury radio stations on BBC Sounds will feature non-stop coverage, including exclusive mixes and huge sets from past years
    • Got HBO Max to watch football so watched One Battle After Another which is a great film and deserves its awards and then rewatched Magnolia and that is a flipping amazing film...so much in it. (also rewatching Angels In America series which is also amazing).
