Hottest thing I've had on site was that chicken jalfrezi wrap with lashings of habanero sauce from chapatti man - took me a bit by shock, was delicious

It was the scrumpy over the counter in the Avalon that did the damage to me

my favourite food at Glastonbury is jerk chicken from the stall thats just round the corner from the Tony Benn tower. Always a massive queue, partly because the food is amazing and partly because the people that work there seem to like to take their time about things. But it's worth the wait!

Food is one of my great treats at Glasto. We plan our eating as much as our music watching. Some old favourities are musts though: The Indian Veggie Curry stall on the bridge at the entrance to West Holts run by Suresh and his family and La Grande Bouffe for a Tartiflette. Other than that there are always great food places in the Green Fields.

Would love to smash through a load of those pancakes the beat hotel are doing this year but imagine they'd be a pain to tackle.

First time going, is there anywhere I can get Churros? I absolutely love them!

Go get a curry plate from Manic Organic in the Green fields. Not the cheapest but excellent and fills you up nicely. I'm already anticipating my first when I get there.

The festival special from the veggie indian place that Grumpyhack mentioned is good value for money too.

You can always go and get some great indian food from the Krishnas for a donation as well although they tend to keep it fairly bland for the festival crowd.

posted this elsewhere but the bubble and squeak stall at the bottom of the park was great - bubble and squeak, spinach, poached egg and spicy salsa + bloody mary I picked up from another stall.... there is no finer way to start the day

There was an amazing curry stall in the Williams Green food court last year. The freebie portions that the guy handing out was enough for me and the wife to get a curry each even though we didnt feel that hungry, we demolished the lot once we got it. Dont know if they did a vindaloo though.

My friend got a pizza near WG and I had a slice, it was lovely! Will be getting myself one this year.

    • Played with Savages & Did a DJ set in Shangri-La -  Glastonbury still has not had a Jenny Beth solo set -    must come up soon right?
    • Start another one...    Il go with, Florence Road -  who im sure will be Flo-Ro eventually. Getting rave reviews including from myself, Probably will be on many more peoples radar post this festival season, doing quite well up to this point, bear in mind they still have not released an album. Putting them on Woodsies for now but this could easily end up on Other.
