Hold on, what's going on? Is the European Union up to their insidious tricks again and preventing the honest British working man from spunking in a bird's hair? Back off, Brussels! I presume Nigel Farridge is going to protest this by organising a mass hair jizz on the steps of the Commission.

Quite amazing how those that criticise Farage as sexist and women hating can totally ignore the sexism (and to a lesser degree) racism in porn. I'm surprised that there isn't a serious feminist lobby against porn, there was in the 70's with pickets outside cinemas showing what would now seem pretty innocent films. There has been a noticable shift in the portrayal of women in these films over the years and there is a quite nasty tendance to humiliate the girls nowadays, if the guys on here haven't noticed this I suspect it's because they don't want to.

Freedom isn't about money, it's about rights. Without spending a penny, everyone could and should have the freedom we all deserve. Money gets in the way of freedom, it's not a necessity.

A girl wanting to grow up free of having her genitals mutilated. How much money would that cost?

In an ideal perfect world nothing...

In a world where strict laws would have to be altered, implemented & upheld as well as a need for massive change in public opinion/cultural differences, a hell of a lot. If we're talking on a global scale.

    • I don't really worry about headliners (unless there's a real possibility of a once-in-a-lifetime artist landing for it) but I'm starting to feel a bit cold on the names floating around bar Fontaines.  Harry Styles and Sam Fender, I can see the value and commercially speaking, they've earned it.  Sabrina Carpenter is obviously popular enough to do it - but after she's headlined everywhere else and done Coachella earlier this year, is it not just a bit predictable to follow what other festivals have done?
    • Bollocks to “safe” headliners, bollocks to the masses. Get interesting, get risky, challenge people.
    • The Cure would be a dream, I can definitely see them doing a second run of festivals they may have missed this year and they seem the definitive Latitude act  If they do festivals next year maybe The Strokes could be a shout? Im stunned either them or Kings of Leon haven't played yet This is a great shout for names, youre right that CMAT is taking a year out though - we're like to know more in the autumn when festivals start making announcements  The only other act I'd really love to see is Idles headline the tent
    • Very sad for Greazy Alice
    • Nino 3.4 anomaly already in 'very strong' (>2.0C) territory.  That's very impressive for July which is still early days for El Nino development.
