Quite happy with the odd shower and a bit of cloud from time to time. Love this thread. Definitely my favourite on here :)

It's both the bane and joy of my life at the moment. haha

edit: Having read jackone's latest forecast it does ever so slightly get better from the previous forecast (from 6.0 to 5.5) which comforts me a little bit haha

I'm getting very worried for some reason.

Yeah, I'm worried the weather has peaked too soon! It's lucky to get a week of dry weather, so the longer it goes on for pre-festival, the higher the likelihood of rain by the time it starts (at least that's my thinking)

Lush photo JMan. The site looks great!

And two random downvotes for giving someone praise. I can't work that one out...

The ground at least won't be sodden if that's the case though. If then it is unsettled it'll cope far better than if we'd have had 3 weeks of rain leading up.

It's just a case of how long this spell lasts.. if it tails off so be it. If it doesn't, bingo.

I think the earliest indication we can really trust will be early next week, when we'll know the results of France v Honduras and Germany v Portugal. Until then I'm happy to keep studying the forecasts - especially the positive ones.

Squire, I think you're in the wrong thread. You need the NFRNFC one - such non-sciencey beliefs will get you hung, drawn and quartered on this thread!

    • I love this festival but Mordor has got worse and worse to the point now that I dread going there. 10 years ago there just weren’t as many people, as many bottlenecks and there wasnt the need to arrive early to have a decent spot.
    • Aren't they against touring?
    • If my memory serves me right, it was the other way round - when PS 2022 lineup was released it was already confirmed that she plays Barcelona in May.
    • Cheers! And yep looks identical to Green day's scheduling
    • Reading all the feedback with interest.  If there are now 75,000 tickets officially sold, plus who knows how many more people blagging in - then on the Friday evening and Saturday in particular, it's not ridiculous to suggest there's 50,000 people at Mordor, which is a stadium gig - except with much worse sight lines, an inferior PA, and far less bars and toilets. The Thursday evening in 2022 was of course infamous but on the Friday night for Beck I was trapped about 150m from the stage, surrounded by chatters, and with no prospect of getting nearer the stage.  With hindsight that was when I realised the fest had one way or another fundamentally changed.  Also noting on Reddit that some folk didn't enjoy the Cure or Gorillaz because the sets were "too long".  In future bands may be better received if they actually just play their top 10 Spotify songs then get back off the stage.
