I can't remember the name of it, but has anyone checked out the burger stand in the park which sells all kinds of bizarre meats. I had a delicious alligator burger there last year, but they were selling plenty of other meats including mountain goat, buffalo and horse. Well worth it if you're looking to try something new.

From memory it's on the left hand side on the path from the Pyramid field in towards babylon at the cider bus side.

Never eaten there though. Will reconsider if there's good word on it, but Tibetan cuisine isn't really much to write home about usually. Love the place and the culture, but the scran is pretty basic.

I remember a lady selling pork skewers marinated in oyster sauce. It was like £2.50 for 2 skewers. Near the lost in the orchard bar (I think that's what it was called) she never had a queue and it was the perfect quick fix if you couldn't wait. Come to think of it. I was there a lot.

Just off the railway track from West Holts is a lovely vegetarian pizza stall with the best tasting pizzas, had one on the sunday before going to see Blur in 2009. Pizza with home-made dough, crisps gently at the crust with amazing choices of toppings. Anyone know the name by chance?

Also, I got to try my very first Welsh oggie at a stall near the Other stage, a superbly giant pastie, which would have seen me through the whole day if it wasn't for the other amazing smells as I bimbled past the stalls.

Try the very nice (and free) lentil daal given by the hare krishnas in their tent. It's a really peaceful sanctuary away from the crowds anytime, singing is optional! I helped around a bit when leaving, picking up other people's discarded plates with a friend. :victory:

I am yet to try the "Fowler Growler", if it's still at Glasto then I'll look forward to a not-so-wholesome bun with big fat chips, topped with bacon and cheese plus any sauce of your choosing! Any clue if they'll be there? :)

    • I really like the Cheap Thrills! I saw them at the Ruby Lounge in Manchester in January at one of Chris Hawkins' "Awesome Friends" nights (which i think is why I even got tickets as it wasn't listed as a Cheap Thrills show!). Very good live and some great songs. I would've gone Saturday if I'd planned ahead!
    • They also seem to be in a mission to break the US with their new major label and this latest LP   Mid afternoon, live streamed on Disney+ is arguably a much bigger gig than Kendal Calling, if they had to skip one
    • This is massively exciting. I've been curious to who will be provide vocals for their live show and this is mega!
