Eddie never seems to be able to relax on stage at festivals. I think roskilde has something to do with, listen to his little speech at the start of that reading video, you can tell its always in the back of their minds playing fests

Yeah Roskilde has definitely had a big impact on them. Looking at festival videos like Lollapalooza, Isle of Wight, Reading etc. He never seems to get into it as much unlike at their own gigs.

I think it was in 2000 and they were headlining, during their set there was a big crowd surge and quite alot of people died from it

Yeah 9 people were killed in a crush at the front. The band said seeing their fans getting pulled over the barrier dead completely changed their lives, to the point where they thought about breaking up. It's covered a little in the pj 20 documentary. If you've never seen pj20 I urge you too asap, incredible movie.

Edit just checked and Leeds was their first fest in 6 years since roskilde , reading the second.

Yeah I heard about Neil Young, although am unsure how true it is.

There should be another Leeds date added. Supposed to be 15 in the whole tour & I think only 12 were announced.

The mk bowl show is confirmed as a mini fest thing too, doors at 2pm, show starts 4pm

Yeah, I agree with Kaosmark: Neil Young could potentially sell out MK Bowl in his own right I reckon so doubt he'd sub PJ.

Am thinking about waiting out to see if I can get a ticket to this hopeful 2nd Leeds Arena date. If unsuccessful, I'll get a MK Bowl ticket straight away

Only 'possibly'? That's a dream lineup right there. Though I can't see Soundgarden supporting, nor Mudhoney if they're not in Europe.

Haha, yeah I'd thought they'd be more established acts (like Soundgarden but not Soundgarden) so will get decent length sets rather than a shitty half hour or something.

PJ might even start at half 6 if they do the half hour acoustic thing
