Blink 182

Not sure if this has been mentioned but over the weekend Blink 182 have been teasing fans on Instagram by posting up song titles of the 2003 self titled - people seem to think they are going to announce a world tour and play it in full.

What are peoples thoughts on being the Other Stage headliner whilst Fleetwood Mac are on? FM on the Pyramid stage on Sunday whilst Blink do the "heavy", QOTSA/Smashing Pumpkins slot on the Other?

Oh hell no. I don't hate them by any means (at least, their pre-self titled album stuff anyway), but live they are just turd. Drums are great, assuming Travis will fly to the UK, but the singing was terrible.

My choice for a heavy-ish Other Stage band for this year would be Soundgarden probably, or NIN.

Mark Hoppus was there backstage this year, he tweeted about it, so it is definitely a possibility! http://tweetwood.com/markhoppus/tweet/352052962882879488

I think they would be fantastic other stage headliners against someone older like Depeche Mode

They aren't the best live band but they know that they're not, they make up for it in terms of atmosphere and Tom Delonge and Mark Hoppus have some of the funniest on stage banter i've ever seen

Big fan of Dude Ranch and parts of Enema of the State, but I'm not sure if I'd bother with them at Glastonbury. And not because they're not "Glastonbury" enough - I think we're well past that as an excuse.

If it was their self-titled album in full, I definitely wouldn't go.

Again why not?

Would make great other stage headliners, not the album in full stuff I don't think...not for Glastonbury but a hits packed set? Would be brilliant!

I am not normally a pop punk and sort of person and mostly detest the bands apart from the odd song but a mate wanted someone to go with her on their last tour and it was really bloody enjoyable :P (Had all American rejects supporting to...who were surprisingly decent live).

I even quite like a couple of songs off their last album now :P
