Lineup 2015

I know c&s, who the fuck are the others? Sound like mid card 1extra acts...

Seems like they're blatantly trying to save money with that booking.

David Rodigan played R&L in 2013. He is best known for being one of the best DJ's in the world when it comes to reggae & soundsystems.

Shy FX is one of the best D&B Dj's in the world & incorporates dancehall, reggae, jungle & other sub genres from around the world in his music.

1975 were just standard subs.

Yeah, I know I mean in terms of it being a possibility and that set up of the "indie" band followed by a big dance act in NME tent, could be expanded to trying the BBC/Nero format more this year as a possibility.

I reckon they've probably declined a bit since 2012 and are playing lower slots than expected.

Possibly, but only due to their absence whilst recording. I think them playing the main stage would still be seen as progress though, although i'd rather see them in the NME tent again.

Lets hope Rebel Sound are closing and that a proper NME headliner has been booked.

People seemed to be ruling them out for 3rd, which is where I'd put them, where do you reckon?

Possibly 4th on main stage I think. As I said above, but if they headlined NME again I'd be so so happy. Or if Interpol headlined it one night and they were on before them (something I think the band would gladly agree to knowing they're the reason they're in a band) that could be awesome.

thanks :) where does this website get the information from though? How would they know they are definitely going to be confirmed as a headliner later?

Neil (who runs this site) knows people, the past if he puts a band as TBC they are playing, it's very rare they won't be.

I only know two circumstances where a TBC band hasn't played, but I very much doubt Neil is wrong.

On Thursday 27th September Shy FX created a track live on MistaJam's show for BBC Radio 1Xtra. He produced the whole thing in 2 hours and used samples recommended by our trusted listeners. He called it.. Rasta Duck!

Mmmmm, the lovely B. Traits at 0.44

The video for "Raver" is like a who's who of drum & bass, jungle & dubstep... & Tinchy Stryder.

More recently he's worked his magic on Sam Smith's "Stay With Me" (which I really like).

You must be joking or you are a moron.

For fucks sake don't be an asshole

this forum has got a bad reputation for treating newbies like shit, he's not being a moron he's new. I know a fair few people who asked me who the Libertines were when they got announced for T, so he's far from a moron to not know a band which haven't released any material for over 10 years.

    • I would be surprised if they don't, given 2022 was the twentieth I imagine next year is going to be pushed as the 25th anniversary so having the most local big name artist possible headline seems natural. Maybe SFA are being saved for then too?
    • I’d be incredibly surprised if she was in the headline conversation at all. At best I could say a high Pyramid slot but I reckon maybe Other headliner against a rock act like Fender or even Other sub (where I have her in my predictions). I’d say Gracie Abrams is pulling similar if not better numbers to Tate and she was third down on the Other last year.
    • I dont think headliner. Other stage maybe
    • Sophie Williams (journalist and Mercury Prize judge) was on Huw Stephens' roundtable last week, said she'd love to see Overmono headline Green Man. Does feel like it's bound to happen. 2027 is surely on the cards seeing as they're about to release a new album
    • Cat Power Wilco Whatever combination of Avalon Emerson and Aldous I manage to see Ken Pomeroy Sparks with an honourable mention to Neve Cariad
