Like two of my friends are 18, and they don't go out anyway, so my only nights out are in Scunny with freshboys I'm not even friends with, when I get asked to come out with them. Sigh.

Sheff's my third closest place to go out tbh, and I'm moving to Newcastle 7 days after your birthday :P

All the more reason to come :P

I think they also like NIN at Corp so it sounds like heaven for you

i'll make t shirts that say 'efests on tour' ayyy

Have to put usernames on and all

Also I have to mention guys that I was actually rofling when I was reading what I have missed

I don't get the Friday at all....

The friday makes sense placement wise etc. I don't think the head or the sub is likely but other than that I can see where they're coming from.

It is just that the main stage has acts that would have lost of crossover appeal then there is jut Jay Z headlining. It would make sense if the NME headliner was Bastille for that day either

Ah, so that puts that rumour to bed

We can now focus on Manics and NMH heading the FR :P

Manics headlining FR would actually be fantastic, but after this year when they've done touring Futurology I can imagine they'll be on another break or working on their next album in 2015.

    • Yeah I don't think it's terrible, but it is solidly in the nostalgia category. Would be nice to see R2 get a little more recent in their choices, even 90s!
    • mmm... i note there are several derogatory comments about this... not sure what it says about me, but i could spend a happy afternoon here...   Simple Minds, Deacon Blue and Texas are all great live bands.   hell, i'd even be drawn away from the bar to see James Blunt (if only for a bit of a nostalgia trip for his show on the Pyramid that i admit i hugely enjoyed).   still, with all that said - there's no way i'm going to the other end of the country for it...   🙂
