I'm starting to doubt The Prodigy. If they had them on the Sunday as well as a headliner, surely they'd want to get them announced so the Sunday doesn't look so bare? There doesn't seem to be anything stopping them doing this, so I don't reckon they're booked. Hopefully this does mean a stellar act headlining the Sunday to close the festival.

Anyway, if Franz aren't playing The Barn after all (not saying they definitely aren't), then this surely makes the Skrillex on Main Stage and Pixies in The Barn info doubtful?

A rumour site said it indeed, but it can also follow from deductions. Looking at the size/spots of other festivals they're playing, it appears likely they'll prefer headlining Barn over Main Stage at 7pm. And in 2012 the organiser said Skrillex would be Main Stage next time he played.

And I reckon Jack White would be spot below sub, like last time.

About the Outkast news, I'm seeing them as Pukkelpop subs or Dour headliners, not really Werchter material.

Where are we at on the muse rumour? Coachella wasn't advertised as a world exclusive as far as I was aware.

Is it still they are just doing one festival in Eastern Europe? If that's the case I can only see it being sziget.

Or have the goalposts moved?

Anything to rule out any of these? Some acts playing lower down than I have them on here, of course.

Thursday:
Main Stage: Skrillex - Metallica - Placebo - Slayer - Alice in Chains
KluB C: Paul Kalkbrenner
The Barn: Portishead - MGMT
Friday:
Main Stage: Major Lazer - Arctic Monkeys - The National - Lily Allen - Interpol - Foals - Jake Bugg
KluB C: Röyksopp and Robyn
The Barn: Manic Street Preachers
Saturday:
Main Stage: Pearl Jam - The Black Keys - The Offspring - Kasabian - Biffy Clyro
KluB C: Rudimental
The Barn: Pixies
Sunday:
Main Stage: Muse - Thirty Seconds to Mars - Kaiser Chiefs - White Lies - Imagine Dragons
KluB C: Disclosure
The Barn: Stromae - Franz Ferdinand

Offspring are headlining goezrock a month or two before (there's usually zero overlap)

Can't see 30stm or the national subbing......then again no idea who would sub arctic monkeys, arcade fire/ qotsa would have suited well, but doesn't look likely.

Despite what people think, I think outkast will be at werchter, the weekend pukkelpop falls on, there is a lot more competition for acts due to more festivals being on, and can't see them playing a medium sized fest like dour.

White Lies, MGMT, Interpol, Mogwai, Bastille, Foals, Mäximo Park, Beady Eye, We are Scientist...

    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
    • This Isaac wood news has dropped right out of left field. Great to hear he feels up to doing live stuff again    what will he play? Solo stuff , old BCNR stuff?    It’s only in November , it’s a bold booking to for someone who has previously had some struggles to come back and play a load of new stuff to crowds that big
    • Wow, Blink-182 back so soon. They’re the band they’ve never booked then. Great booking if they’ve got them.    Deftones, Papa Roach, Knocked Loose   Lamb of God   Blink-182, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte   Megadeth   Slipknot, Gojira, Motionless In White   All Time Low
