Sup guys, I've been to Werchter twice now, wasn't planning on this year but fuck, I would be stupid not to. I have 2 questions- where can I buy cider near Werchter/Leuven? (I'm from England don't judge). We always get all our supplies from the Spar in Leuven and its nowhere to be seen, but then again its Belgium so fair enough. Secondly, why do we get so many bad looks and comments from the locals when we're lugging crates of Carapils about? I know its shit but even the hobos were shouting at us.

Cheers guys, have a good one this year!

wow, that was a bit surprising seen The Strokes in that line up, with not even one gig to promote the Come Down Machine album I was not expecting a headlining act in any festival this year, and more with the likes of Julian and Albert solo projects going down there...

but as you say I wouldn't ring the bells yet cos it seems a one off home gig more than a tour, so...

a real pitty cos I'll kill to see The Strokes again...

(go the Foo Fighters rumours, go!!!)

The rumours going around are great, all bands that I could moreso relax to rather than be in any great urgency to see in my life.

Would love to see The Strokes on the lineup. Was looking around at other lineups, one that Pixies and Franz are playing in Denmark has Mew playing too, hopefully see them make an appearance. Their site mentions an album in the making, and with this tour date I hope it makes them more likely.

    • I’m going USA with Trump presenting the trophy to himself
    • Go on then, who's going to win? I'm going for France...
    • They’re even making AdP craft beers now. Nice IPAs too.
    • I don't think a whole raft of attendees who've been going every year since the mid 90s and mid 10s collectively all thinking the festival is no longer for us suggests we've all aged out of it at the same time. Something fundamental has changed and its pretty obvious what that is. The fact that theyve managed to skinny down the line up so much AND STILL get punters in is a real credit to the bookers, filling it with enough of the current thing to get the kids excited for a weekend while pulling in enough big names to make it worth a day out for the casual Florence fan etc... is impresive. Re Leeds: Annecdotally, from videos, numbers have looked tiny vs Reading, esp on the camping end of things, it would be good to know the official numbers and how much they're down from the peak sell out years
