been saying for years it should be Metallica. If Glastonbury can have Jay-Z, it can have the opposite end of the spectrum. They are incredible live and have enough great songs to draw in curious neutral observers.

Based on the large crowds seen for 'heavy' bands like Smashing Pumpkins this year and QOTSA in 2011, the demand is definitely there.

someone at the festival was telling me that apparently fleetwood mac have signed, but I knew he was bullshitting because he also said daft punk were lined up for the sunday but pulled out for mumfords. So yeah, nothing to believe.

Prince is usually reluctant to sign up to a show 3 months in advance, never mind over a year so it won't be him, not a chance.

Foos would be a great headliner and would draw a big crowd. Problem is they've done tonnes of festivals over the past few years and I don't think it'd feel like a big deal. Maybe if they get them as a European exclusive or something.

I'd say.....Kasabian Radiohead and Florence and the Machine that's my gut feeling. With some strong subs, spread a bit more evenly than this year.

Rock tends to get ignored a bit imo, I guess whoever books the bands isn't a fan. That said, Foo Fighters would be a wicked headliner (Fri/Sat maybe).
