It's yet another thing that the referees have tolerated and have themselves to blame on. The option is there for them to book players who are at it. Take the hard line and players don't take liberties. Simple as that. Give them the inch and they take the mile. If they want to play their part in helping that happen then they get zero sympathy from me on it.

I think refs should go into the dressing rooms before games and simply say "Im taking no shit from any of you today. Players, coaches, managers, no one. First person to step out of line or give me any level of crap is going straight into the book. I will have no problem sending you off for giving me jip"

The refs really need to show the players who is in charge of the game. Establish this and in no time at all the players attitude will change throughout the league

Then the refs may have more confidence to make their split second decisions without fearing the immediate wrath of the players. It might allow them to stop the predictable silly calls we always see in the game also

Ive said for a while that Shaw/Lallana/Schneiderlin look perfect from a Utd perspective. Don't see exactly where Lallana fits in for LFC.

He would suit Liverpool down to the ground, united are aiming for players with higher pedigree I would imagine.

No, word is they're aiming for exactly that pedigree - exactly Lallana, in fact.

Who was he playing for beforehand?

Kroos would be unlikely IMO if Bayern want to keep him. Fabregas could be more likely if Barca want to get rid of him.
