It's funny have heard a few people commenting on whether the new Liverpool bloke is a good signing or not. Have to admit I haven't heard of him so can't judge one way or the other, surely I'm not the only one.

I read an article the other day which had a headline something like "Rodgers to sign massive name" and which then talked about this geezer in the article.

It did say tho that he's the guy who scored against England for Ukraine in the 1-1 draw in Sept 2012, so I guess on that basis it could be claimed that many people are vaguely aware of him.

Either you rescind both, neither, or only Remy's.

My complaint isn't really about Remy's being upheld, he was an idiot, but this decision effectively condones cheating, it encourages players to try and deceive the referee. It's not like Johnson didn't initiate the scuffle (made the first push).

Utter arsec**tery.

I tend to think fans are inclined to believe conspiracy theories against their clubs. It's a lot easier for us to remember the times we were harshly done by than bits of good luck. Shelvey and Callum Mcmanaman stand out in my mind as well, but I try and avoid suggesting we're being victimised. Fans of other clubs do it and it winds me up as I usually reckon they're wrong, and I'm aware there's a chance of bias goggles myself. I complain about individual decisions being utterly retarded, but I don't want to try and suggest the FA have an agenda against us.

    • It would be piss-easy for a bot to manage, though.
    • I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.
    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.

    • Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!
