smogo
I watched The National's headlining set at Latitude on Sky Arts and thought they were dreadful. Mind you, their music is pretty much the exact opposite of what I like.
sonny
I'll gladly put a fiver on K C & The Sunshine Band
Alabama shook
I'd be happy with that, though why you think that Neil? *edit* Never mind, you're taking that Hold on Tight as a clue.. good point!
Zacko
Neutral Milk Hotel are back together and Boards of Canada are also back, both are probably too small to headline but they'd be great additions elsewhere on the bill

Frankly Mr Shankly
I think Neutral Milk Hotel as a one off reunion tour might, might, just manage to, but unless it's a one-off UK exclusive for this decade then yeah, they'd be too small. echo
Considering Reggine has dropped, perhaps the A'Fire pull out wasn't the case... although probably means they were never booked
monkey1989
nick cave , pulp , qotsa (if there not download festival exclusive) , Phoenix or hurts are my final guesses basement jaxx , groove amada and chase and status are who I think are possible but do not wish to see anywhere on the bill
Frankly Mr Shankly
Basement Jaxx would be a repeat, Groove Armada have retired as a live band, there is little to no indication that Pulp are doing anything & Hurts simply aren't big enough. So I very much doubt it will be any of those. QOTSA would be an odd choice, but then RDB likes to think outside the box & surprise people. Phoenix would be a decent choice, a little on the small side maybe, but perhaps that's the reason they're doing Longitude but not Latitude? Nick Cave, Portishead, Chase & Status or Vampire Weekend still stick out as the obvious ones to me.
monkey1989
If you had to be pick just one who would it be ? mine - Phoenix for numerous reasons
kaosmark2
Nope, even then they'd be nowhere near big enough. Hope they're on the bill somewhere this year or next though.
monkey1989
I guess it's grown a bit since the days MBV headlined.

Frankly Mr Shankly
I would say if she got pregnant a pull out was highly unlikely.

monkey1989
you can use a lot of positive words to describe Nick Cave but extravaganza isn't one of them

Paul ™
Yeah definitely think it will be more dance based, normally have one headliner that is.
