Am I wrong (too old) in wishing there were less dance thump thump stuff on it though?

I'd say the dance stuff is underrepresented at the moment, there wasn't much of it on that first poster. If you're out after midnight, you're likely to hear a lot of it.

Just added Bicep and Midland to Glasto 2014 - Zico I don't think you'll like them!

My goodness this is marvellous; outstanding work Brave Sir Robin, thank you. Currently listening to Toumani Diabate Kaira - beautiful stuff :)

A fantastic way to be introduced to new music.

Cheers Heartbreaker! I love Jagwar Ma too, probably my fave album of last year. They're playing the Park - not sure how that'll suit them tbh.

Good to hear! Toumani Diabate is playing with his son. Their joint album is due this month, so in the meantime I've put their most played solo tracks. Check out Toumani's 2 albums with Ali Farka Toure, they're wonderful, especially the second.

Added Tony Bowen, and the Fugitives (both acoustic acts), and removed Klaxons who say they aren't playing (shame, Golden Skans could have been A Moment).

Added to Glasto 2014: latest self-confirmations/TBCs Mexican Dubwiser, the Wookies, Phatworld, the Dodge Brothers, Shaa'ir + Func, Dan Clews, Lazy Habits, Ciara Cunnane, Rivers of England, Space Monkeys, Opiuo, Qboy, Freerange DJs, Bipolar Sunshine and Shit Robot (and breathe!)

To keep the size down a little, new policy of 5 tracks for acts that are or might well be playing the bigger stages, 3 tracks for acts playing the smaller stages. As ever, song selections are based on recent gig/festival setlists as far as possible.

Any chance of sticking Opiuo's Robo Booty on the list? It's one of my very favourite songs!

Added Dub Pistols and Mariachi Doritos (just 'Stay Another Day' - there's also a 'Los Mariachis' on Spotify who do instrumental rock covers but I don't know if it's the same lot).

Removed the duplicate Richie Hawtin, and updated his tracks to include stuff under his Plastikman alias that he's played recently.

Added Aaron Douglas, Tony Joe White, Bomba Estereo, Dry the River, Kidnap Kid, Brawther, ColdFusion, Mungos Hi FI, Adam Prescott, Calibre, MC DRS, the Subways and Don Cavalii to Glasto 2014.

Also updated Lily Allen (played her first show in ages), Toumani & Sidiki Diabate (their joint album is now out), and Tune-Yards (new album).

Have you just added Tony Joe White? That's superb. Was really hoping he'd be added to the lineup. Where did you getthis news from?

Polk Salad Annie is a fucking great song

Added him yesterday - I believe Dentalplan spotted his tour dates on his website and posted them on the Self Confirmed thread.

I'd never heard of him before but I agree, Polk Salad Annie, and his old stuff generally, is indeed great. His newer stuff, less so. He's played a mix of the two recently, as per the 5 tracks on the playlist.

    • I agree the prices are tough for locals. You can see if Porto timetable is the type that works for you and it's a terrific city. Also cheaper. https://www.primaverasound.com/es/porto/lineup-porto
    • thanks XXialac! i guess for us the most important aspect will be a festival that starts very late in the day, specially in these southern countries were it can be really hot! The combination of visiting a new city, having good lunches and enjoying a festival is a absolute must for us. Also, we like headliners but the undercard is just as important; truly enjoyed Men I trust, NewDad, Big Thief this year so from that angle it is not really a big thing if a festival is somewhat smaller.    Apparently my bad, i had 5 in my system but 0.5 (10%) increase is still huge. I am not sure how teenagers can afford these prices............
    • That second part was how I felt about Rock IM Park this year trying first. I found that when it gets to like the 3rd act on the main stage down, you've gotta make a choice to miss anything leading up might not enjoy and it's sometimes while closer for not a great view as everyone in turn has to make the call too. Being short doesn't help as I'd just be able be further bacm but still see.
    • I wasn’t slagging Scooter off, they are undeniably silly. As I said, they are the definition of a meme booking for Download. People requested them for years because it was silly.
