Jimmy, the Stella has been chilling under my tent. Grab a can.

Let's get the fire blazing tonight. Celebrate the ones with coach tickets and gee up those looking on Sunday!

 that siliconethe it won't melt, it burns first in air. straaaaaaaange stuff

I so want one of those kettles now. The bulkiness of mine is a great dissatisfaction every time I pack it, but can't face life without proper tea so a kettle is a must

Ridiculed by many, asked for tea in the morning by all.

Exactly! I usually start my glasto day crawling out of my tent feeling rough as hell but getting the stove on for a morning brew always sorts me out. Then everyone else wants one too :-)

Day too exciting perhaps - memories of '07 down my way with so much rainfall a whole reservoir overflowed like a tidal wave causing a bit of a landslide and smothering everywhere in leafy filth

The campfire action was strong that morning on Pennard's Island, couldn't even get down to the site until nigh-on midday without wading through knee deep water from where we were

    • Sadly, the ticket map below screams rear 5 blocks not on sale or never have been on sale. Especially when you look at the blue blocks with rows of unsold tickets.   And I say all of this as a big fan of Muse.
    • Personally, I don't think there will be any changes to the queuing system in place for the 2025 sale.  GFL will be aware that true bots are a risk, but they may also see large collectives of organised folks running multiple devices, containers or profiles to get an advantage as bots themselves, and then struggle to know where to draw the line without penalising folks who are simply more on the ball than others.   They will also be acutely aware that engineering tech to close those gaps will cost, and therefore eat into the money they are able to pass to the Charities, without passing those costs on to punters in the ticket price, which they will be cautious of doing especially after a 2 year break and the inevitable media coverage that will get.   This may all be naive and overly trusting of me though.....
    • went to their album launch show last night at the george tavern. it was fantastic! absolutely roasting in there though
    • I got mine yesterday but they sent the wrong ticket link, so had to email Ticketmaster and get the right one.    As for predictions, hard to see who else could do the Pulp/Sting/Byrne slot other than the Cure, and since they did Isle of Wight they maybe have an FR deal (Sting did both). It’s also the Cure’s 50th next year so imagine they’ll be doing a bigger tour. Pet Shop Boys or Kylie maybe?   Wolf Alice would be a dream. It’ll probably all be men again though.
    • Probably a couple of months yet....last ticket sale announcement was 10th October 2024.
