I don't know what is or isn't going on with Rolf, but I recently saw him at the Royal Festival Hall in Feb. He was absolutely brilliant. He played all his hits, all really well & even did a painting. Probably one of the best gigs I've been too! I would have def seen him at Glasto, but can understand if its all a bit much for him now!

To everyone saying hes innocent, please keep an open mind. Nobody here knows him, so we have no idea either way. The fact that the police have had cause to question him is a concern.

Without wishing to compare the two Sir Jimmy Saville was innocent until after his death.

I do appreciate that he doesn't seem the sort though!

This post was not supposed to be a did he / didn't he post (I know I was very gullible) I geuinely love the guy and being outside the Jazz stage in the mud in 2009 dancing to Waltzing Matilda because we couldn't get through the crowds (I know!) and watching him open the Pyramid stage in the blazing sun in 2010 are massive highlights of my Glastonbury experience. I'll miss him this year.

all it takes is an accusation from one person, the police have to follow it up, especially as part of such a high profile case. There will be plenty of idiots out there coming forward saying that they were molested/assaulted 40 years ago by a host of celebrities. Just because he has been arrested doesnt mean that there is any substance to the accusation. However, he could of course also be guilty of the accusation. Only time will tell but lets hope it is all bs.

I am really hoping it does prove to be untrue. It did say in msm that the person's arrest was part of the third strand of the investigation & nothing to do with the JS case. I am hoping for the best as I am a huge fan of Rolf and have been since a child. And he was in fine form in February when I saw him and I hope he's ok!

Because he hasn't been charged they can't say anything the regulations are very strict and it may impede enquiries and endanger someone who isn't necessarily guilty. Remember what happened with the paedo riots a few years ago. People react

Oh No! I hope this isn't true,it was bad enough with Gary Glitter, who was my hero when I was 5,apparently according to my folks I insisted they called me Gary for a while,Lol!( I have no memory of this, thank God).

If this turns out to be true it will smash up my childhood and I shall spend the day clutching myself on the floor of the shower...

I think you'll find it's true. However, whether he ever stands trial is debatable. He's small fry apparently.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
