I wanted to know how much booze people take to last them for the whole festival? I know the answers will vary based on how much each person drinks etc etc but figured i could work out some sort of average amount, 2/3/4/5 crates of beer etc?!

For me: 1 case of beer, topped up with drinks that I buy from bars when I'm out and about at the festival. (Cider Bus, Brother's, Avalon, etc.... )

Any more than that and my girlfriend would get grumpy.

Previously I used to take what was humanly possible to carry along with camping kit etc. I now have a trolley so expect to take a shed load more. Can't give figures as I really can't remember the specific amount I have taken.

I usually take:

3 x 12 cans of larger/cider

2 x 1Litre of spirits (Usually Rum and Vodka)

and that will do me for most of the festival, topped up with few drinks from the bars

That does me and my light drinking mate fine

We take two crates of 24 cans, generally two types of ale. This year will be Rev James and London Pride. This is between my wife and myself. i also take a flask of whiskey for me.<br /><br />We will then top up at bars, generally whatever bitter is at the bar. Will spend thursday afternoon and evening at the Real Ale Bar. Will also find the St Austel tent for a few pints of Tribute.

3 x 2 liter bottles of vodka and coke. 50/50 strength. Bit of string tied around it got carry it.

2/3 bottles of vodka

any thing else that comes to mind when buying the other lot

i tend give quite a bit to mates that cant carry loads in but as im in a camper theres no worries for me ..then they buy me beer in the tents but as none of my mates have tix i think ill be saving money and not buying so much this year ...................................................................YEAEAEEAAAAA

But im really hoping they get tix in resale and ill be up and trying for them so who knows

18 pint bag-in-a-box of Boondoggle, which won't last past Thursday lunchtime. There are two of us!

Numerous ales and ciders from many bars will also be consumed.

(I might put a bottle of reasonable scotch or rum in a plastic bottle too, but don't tell anyone)

I normally take 2 crates of 24 then a bottle of some sort of spirit, raspberry vodka is good. Feels quite refreshing in the morning haha

Last time I took 1x3l box of scrumpy which was strictly for drinking back at camp.

Plus 1 bottle of Calvados for depthcharging the Hot & Spicy & quick nips whilst on site.

I probably needed more Calvados

20ish cans - probably a 10 can fridge pack of Guinness and the same of lager

1 box of red wine and one or two of the smaller tetra packs

Selection of small amounts of spirits - vodka, sourz and Drambuie

Plus extra for drinking on the journey

Will top all this up with some cold pints during the day

I normally take 5 litres of rum and a couple of gallons of proper cider too, top that all up on site from the cider bus as well

Last festival I went I took 20 cans of cider, bottle of Malibu (easy to stomach first thing) and about 2l of skittle vodka that I went halves with my sister. This was on top of what I bought in the arena....think I may need more this year :/

I bring:

12 litres of wine

2 litres of spirits

12 cans of something for at the tent

Supplemented with beer and spirits from the various bars

2 crates of 24 Stella (my missus is a light drinker) & a bottle or 2 of home-made flavoured Vodka.

I usually top up my drinks with some ice cold larger from the bars.

A 5 litre mix of vodka with whatever energy drink/pop i decide on (ususally 2 litre vodka + 3 litre mixer).

Then I spend a lot of time and money at the Brothers bar!

I think I have well under-estimated the amount of time spent drinking. Was looking at taking a 24 can crate for the entirety!

Just out of interest how much is lager / cider once we are there?
