Personally I'm surprised that people are even bothered by this.

I pretty much knew they were going to play, not by hunches but just that they are an act that everyone right now wants to book, and they will get a popular reaction. If they didn't play I'd be suprised.

Il definitely see them! Fan of their album!

People are going to jump on any piece of info, while there's not much out there, because its good to get excited about.

Personally, I'm pretty excited Billy Bragg and Fatboy Slim are strong rumours.

I'd pretty much only heard good things about the album. Now they've been announced I'll pick it up.

Plus, no offence to FLoorfiller, but I disagree on 90% of your calls so happy to take a stab at this one.

I think its main problem is being quite forgettable. Doesn't really grab you, just politely taps you on the shoulder while passing on the train of hype

It was only 12 months ago I saw Alt-J supporting Wild Beasts in Falmouth. A year is a long time in the music industry. It was pretty obvious that night who the better band were. Hoping album number 2 is as good as the first.

Yeah I have to agree to a certain extent. I have given all three albums a right go and they do zero for me. Nothing music basically. Completely pointless.

But its good that we're getting a few announcements of bands people want to see though.

Django Django are a bit more interesting. Got a minor Hot Chip / Beta Band-y sort of vibe to them. Nothing to blow your socks off, but they're not terrible.

Well - I was also underwhlemned by Django Django live (albeit they were playing in a museum with rubbish sound), but the album's OK.

Note only 'OK', mind.

In terms of Beta Band-y stype music it's all about Matthew E White at the moment, anyway.

Add to that two door cinema club, bombay bicycle club etc. Pure landfill music. Of course there is always mediocre music like this and there always will be, but it doesnt mean we shouldnt mock it at every opportunity.

They are just the current version of razorlight, keane etc. Shite

White's touring the UK again in (IIRC) April. Off to see him in Glasgow.
