I normally just go straight on the lash the minute the tent is pitched on the Wednesday. Spend quite a few hours by the tents waiting for late arrivals etc then just go wandering about aimlessly with mates in the evening. That may change this year as I may attend the efests meet up. Still debating that one. Part of me really wants to go to the meet up and part of me thinks I should stay with friends, some of whom I don't get to meet as often as I'd like.

Tuesday setting up and getting to know the neighbours in campervan field over a few beers

Wednesday leisurely start And walk the site to work out changes and watch the campers flood in

Thursday catch whatever live music is around. Such as bandstand below crossaint neuf where we caught biggles wartime band in 2011.

Previous years I was lucky enough to get a open mike spot in leftfield on Thursday, when it was down by Williams field glebeland. Great that I could say I've played GLASTO. Also played strummerville bandstand (badly)

Just take your pals, surely they can't say no to a trip to the cider bus! I've dragged my lot along to a few meets and they've got on really well with everyone. I've made some good mates through the meets, at festivals and a few Glasgow meets too.
