they may be alot more liked but are they going to attract new fans of the back of a few singles, or current fans who wont pay £31 to see em?

I get the standing thing, but if you really like a band you take what you can get.

Im not trying to diss Biffy, just dont think their quite there for headliner status but with only so many bands who are, with so many festivals competing, and distain for repeat booking meaning lesser bands are being given a leg up but if festivals need to virtually sell out on day tickets to sustain, something is going to bang soon

I think from a musical sense you're right but if you like them youve probably seen them work their way up, and youd have had the oppurtnity to have seen them loads costing £10-£30 (including 3-4 months before the festival) so why pay £90 now?

Where as acts like Mumford/Florence that havent been around that long, people are probably more likely to pay £90 to go see em and at the end of the day if the festival isnt making money then it wont exist

I've been a Biffy fan since Puzzle was released and the first song I heard was 'Living Is A Problem......' which to this day is my favourite Biffy track. Also,Puzzle is one of my favourite albums of all time. It's weird because this is the first time that one of my favourite bands has gone on to headline a festival so its really nice for me to see a band grow and grow after releasing such good music. It's strange seeing them headlining the 02 it really is because I never thought I would see it happen. It gives me faith though because decent music is being given a chance and the fact that Biffy have been given this chance to headline Reading means there is hope for up and coming British rock bands.

With the comment about the longer setlist...might we get a "rare" setlist/theme to their Reading/Leeds set? I am thinking something like after day tickets go on sale , saying its going be Opposites in Full + Greatest Hits...something like that to make it a bit special?

Ofc they should just play a nigh on 2 hour setlist and that would make me happy :)
