A spotfest is no different from any other type of match for me. When done right, it can be as good as anything else.

I remember one of the Elimination Chamber PPV back in the day when the brands were split & the Smackdown one was great story telling with Undertaker being outstanding and the Raw one was a major spot fest with everyone hitting their finisher in a big sequence one after the other to leave everyone out for the count. Both types were equally compelling because they were done right.

Erm... what?

VINCE RUSSO TO JOIN IPW:UK IN 2015

LONDON, ENG (December 19, 2014) - effective as of January 1st, IPW:UK are proud to announce the signing of the world famous Vince Russo to take over control as the Executive In Power of International Pro Wrestling: United Kingdom (aka, IPW:UK).

With his background in co-ordinating exciting live and televised wrestling events for the past 23 years, working with all of America's most successful and well viewed wrestling promotions, it is with great pride that we make this announcement.

In a deal that has been discussed over the last 8 calendar weeks, Mr. Russo will come in and take over all operations pertaining to the company and the company's direction in 2015. No jobs are lost because of this deal, in fact all it will do is create further employment as we look to expand our live event schedule further in 2015.

Mr. Russo will be making two live appearances at our shows on January 10th & 11th, live in Tonbridge, Kent - just 40 minutes outside of London by train, and situated off of M25 junction 4. Tickets to these two events are on sale now from http://www.ipwuk.com/events.

Sky are charging £19.99 for the Royal Rumble.

Good luck with that guys.

Are they trying to milk it before giving us the network, or are they trying to prove that they make too much money from the ppvs for them to allow wwe to give it to us for 9.99?

I'm interested now that Bryan has entered the Rumble, it seems to me that any other result except a Bryan win would leave the 'universe' unhappy. I have always thought it was going to be a Reigns win then he defeats Lesnar at Mania and becomes the new star.

I could see a couple of other things happening as well as the above:

Bryan wins Rumble, goes on to defeat Lesnar at Mania.

Reigns wins Rumble, Cena beats Brock, Brock then destroys Cena and Seth comes out and cashes in setting up Seth vs Roman at Mania. (Not sure where that would leave Bryan).

Thoughts?

(Question: Will Seth be in the rumble? As he already has a title opportunity whenever he wants)

I'm really unsure how things will go leading up to WrestleMania. Reigns has been the Rumble favourite for pretty much a year now, but with Bryan returning you would think that he is the one who will be winning it. Personally, I think that Rollins will leave the Royal Rumble as Champion.

But, again, if they are dead set on Reigns vs. Lesnar then Bryan being eliminated by a heel e.g. a returning Sheamus (who is rumoured to be coming back as a heel) would set up a match between those two, which was originally the plan for last year's 'Mania if rumours are to be believed. However, I think that Bryan MUST win the Rumble.

Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns

Triple H vs. Sting

John Cena vs. Rusev

Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus

Seth Rollins vs. Randy Orton

That's what I'm expecting, but where does that leave Ambrose, Wyatt, Ziggler etc?

Bryan vs Lesnar would be absolutely ridiculous.

That's the main event I want, but I'm sure we have said before how unbelievable it would be from a reality standpoint. An almost 300lbs former UFC champion who is the most gifted athlete in WWE history, who broke The Undertaker's streak and won the WWE Championship in the most dominant, one sided fashion being dethroned by a 190lbs former indie favourite. It just wouldn't seem believable. BUT. This 190 pounder is Daniel Bryan, arguably the most over wrestler since Stone Cold Steve Austin and the undisputed crowd favourite. So, for that reason alone, I'd love to see it :D
