Raw on Monday was absolutely amazing. If anyone hasn't been before I advise you to go. I didn't expect it to be that good. The highlights being 2 fans dressed as Goldust and Kane fighting in the stand when the Ryback match was on (no one paid attention to that match) Then again fighting outside after.

This old WCW is taped from US tv and they just advertised The Big Labowski coming out in cinemas during the break! HA Awesome.

Its mid Feb 1998. They just advertised Sting V Hogan at Superbrawl VIII for the vacant WCW World Title Feb 22nd

heh, The big Lebowski trailer, classic 90s stuff

Where are you getting this stream ?

Despite the WWE app saying different I'm hearing that its an all star cast tonight in Leeds.Goldust has tweeted that he's in France even though he's listed as appearing in Leeds.

yep, last night the rhodes were advertised beforehand but weren't there. but overall it will be good if its the same set of stars

I'm buying Wrestlemania tickets tomorrow!!!! So excited!

If you haven't already got them, WWE sent me a link; http://e.wwe.com/a/hBShPOGB8L$g$B82aU6NdcRY16a/tickets2 The code you need is WWEVIP

I went to Atlanta a couple of years back and had a blast, never mind that everyone crapped on the show (Cena-Miz, Taker-HHH 2, Snookie, 25 minutes of Michael Cole wrestling).

I'd really like to go this year, would love to spend 5 days or so in NOLA. You'll have a great time I'm sure!

From Big Dave:

There was at least talk this week of SummerSlam coming to London. I don’t know how serious the talk is, only that it was mentioned on the tour to some people with major business connections in Europe as something being considered. Another person confirmed to us that at this point, SummerSlam isn’t locked in for Los Angeles, its home for the past few years. But that’s not that unusual this many months out. At one time in recent years Madison Square Garden was going to host a SummerSlam. MSG renovations that year wouldn’t allow it and it wound up back in Los Angeles. I think the Los Angeles tradition is a good one and is good for them in making contacts. If it was me, under normal circumstances, I’d keep it there as long as the people turn out for it, and the shows have been automatic sellouts months ahead of time, so that’s not an issue. But there is one very good argument for London this year, as well as arguments against it. Why the London talk surprised me at first is because for years Vince McMahon has said the 1992 SummerSlam at Wembley Stadium, didn’t do well on PPV because the time difference didn’t allow it to air live in the U.S. I think more of a factor was it was the first major PPV without Hulk Hogan, and Hogan was the big mainstream draw at the time. Several months ago we noted talks in the U.K. regarding doing a PPV there, and once again, the issue is that to air in the Sunday at 8 p.m. time slot, it would have to be tape delayed. Today, due to the Internet, I do believe a tape delay would make a difference in PPV. A lot depends on the live gate. The company took in $5.73 million for SummerSlam on PPV and the live gate in Los Angeles was little more than $1 million. Los Angeles always sells out and would almost certainly do so again for the show. So the question becomes two things. First, will holding the third biggest show of the year in the U.K. bring up the U.K. market interest, which is more important now than ever with the TV deal coming due? Second, can they draw more at the live gate to make up for the costs of holding it there and whatever revenue they’d lose on PPV by not going live? If they charge WrestleMania prices and run Wembley Stadium and sell it out (and I have no idea if that’s even possible), they can gross more money on the live gate than the entire PPV would do. Whether they have the ability to run Wembley is a question, but for such a big event, it’s a consideration. But even at the O2 Arena, they’ll be able to charge a lot more than in Los Angeles because UFC has done $2 million to $3 million in that building and WWE is far more popular in the U.K. and SummerSlam is a major event. Another key to this is the WWE Network. If the network is up and running, and that is the plan, all of a sudden the familiarity of time slot isn’t as important and they can either air it live on the network, or air it on tape delay. But the point being, it’s not as big a consideration for TV if it’s on tape because Raw has aired on tape from the U.K. for years and it’s proven that it makes almost no difference in viewing audience. It’s very possible we’re even overstating the PPV issue. I do believe if they ran earlier in the day and live on PPV the numbers would be bad. UFC already did that and more people would buy the prime time version than the afternoon version, and UFC afternoon show ratings aren’t as good as prime time ratings. But it’s possible the entire idea that they would lose significant viewers on PPV in North America being tape delayed is overblown. And whatever that number is, the truth is, the live gate probably would probably more than make up the difference. And even if it didn’t, if there’s value on the other end, it makes it a viable direction.

would love to go to wrestlemania one day, maybe not for a few years though, also they should really hold it somewhere else in the world... but you know they won't as it wouldn't be aired live for prime time american tv.

really hope they hold a ppv here though at some point, reckon it would be great.

They aren't going to do Mania here, but they could do Summerslam here.

If they sell out Wembley (feasible) that would offset a lot of the money that wouldn't be made from the low US buyrate, and the UK buyrate would actually be significantly higher.

Considering how cash rich the company is (very), they absolutely should take the plunge and do it.

Actually watched some of Survivor Series around Walking Dead last night, really only the first hour and some between breaks of Walking Dead and bits afterwards.

What I saw it wasn't a bad show. Although the end. Erm.... where they going with that then? Only one thing sprung to mind...
