I know you're all in a wrestlemania frenzy here but some very interesting news regarding Jeff Jarrett.

Konnan's interview on a podcast here speaks so great about the wrestling business.

Says he's spoken to Jarrett and Jarrett doesn't know if TNA will last the year and he doesn't give a shit anymore.

Says Jarrett is making an announcement this week, its believed that it will be a new wrestling promotion with the financial backing of Toby Keith who has $320 million net worth.

Even more interesting JR has stated on twitter that he met with Toby Keith and also said this

''Great meeting today with a major sports concern. Now it's in the hands of my agent & their business manager. Could be big...and fun!''

Seriously, If Toby Keith is pumping a whack of cash into this, which it sounds like he is, he could pick up ALL the free talent out there, Hogan, AJ, Morgan, Chavo, indie talent heck he could even pay Goldberg.

They could seriously completely blow TNA out the water, I've said it before, I think Joe, Daniels, Kaz etc would jump over. Dixie could be fucked.

Will be interesting to see who turns up on old school RAW tonight. Certainly a shop window to see whos still got it.

It was for another country star John Rich's birthday party.

I really don't see WWE bringing Hogan back, but who knows in wrestling... I just think with Batista and Lesnar already outside the main roster, probably Undertaker too, I can't see them bringing in another big pay name for Mania.

It is sad. His recovery is remarkable, for people like me/us especially who have followed wrestling for many years. It would have been perfect if the crowd could have acknowledge this positive direction for him and given him the huge pop he deserves.

There's a trannie wrestler where the crowd chant "rape his face" during her finishing move, a cyborg wrestler who's penis is detachable, a racist football hooligan and my favourites a pair of northeners who bring a spirit level in the ring to make sure it's safe and eat crisps to get power. It takes place once a month at a club and the place is really nicely decked out with a rockabilly theme, they have burlesque girls inbetween fights and you're literally next to the ring, I've been hit in the face when a wrestler got thrown out of the ring as you're that close.

I think it's worth folk looking for what's around them. People would be surprised by the standard of wrestling up and down the country.

The Attitude Era got me back into wrestling. I stopped watching in 1995 and just completely fell away. Then I watched a recap show one morning where McMahon/Austin was the focus and I was just completely hooked again.

Oh awesome I started watching in about '98, and watched all the way through to around '06, I stopped watching then and started again when The Rock made his in ring return at Survivor Series a couple of years ago.

I distinctly remember turning on for the first time in years, seeing Sheamus and thinking, "What the hell even is this guy?" Safe to say, I wasn't impressed

Regarding UK wrestling, yeah I go to my local promotion FCP.

It was Rockstar Spud's local promotion before he signed for TNA.

Oh and for the record my opinion on Lucha Britannia, its fucking garbage. Absolutely AWFUL promotion.

Some FCP matches on YouTube as well. They're a promotion who I've kept an eye on and definitely want to head to see at some point. They have hot crowds and a good roster. I definitely wanna make one of their CZW weekends.

pretty sure they haven't released an anthology with both rr and wm included. the last anthology for wm was released in 2005 as well as far as i can research it.

it may be this is just copies or something as there are definitely 1-15 in different sets and then one up to 2005

It's two seperate anthologies.

I messaged saying the anthology only went up to wrestlemania 21 and Rumble only went up to 2007. Got a reply saying the rest of the dvds are seperate and still sealed.
