I don't know if this means anything or not but the EOTR posters at NDH had Tindersticks on the top line with Grizzly Bear and Grandaddy, with Midlake on the line below with Beach House and Dirty Three. The posters clearly aren't finished as there are more bands to come, but that could be a hint that Tindersticks will close out the Woods Stage if there isn't another headliner as the rumours seem to suggest

They're playing in St Louis on August 26 then nothing till a festival in California on September 9, which would give them time to fit in a few UK dates.

Too expensive though, surely?

They would be amazing, I would love them there. My only reservation, and it's a bit of a daft one, is they would close the Friday night. That is one hell of a party to throw out there on the first night. A lot of cleaning up to do before slightly more low-key (but still fantastic) headliners on the next two nights.

And now BU have gone and signed Wild Nothing as well. Only caught a bit of their set last year, so I'd gladly welcome them back.

I talked to her as well after the Norwich gig and she said probably no for EOTR but last year they were asked just a month before the event so you never know!

They're not currently playing any festivals other than Indietracks this year, which given how well they went down in an early slot last year seems surprising.
