The Strange Boys have disappeared :( Saw Graham Coxon at Truck Festival last year and he bored me to death, but at least it's something a bit noisier.

Woods, Patrick Watson and Gravenhurst are really good additions. Couldn't care less that Woods played last year because every show is different, and looking at their work rate I'm guessing they'll have some new material to play for us as well.

I go to EOTR (and NDH) to see a range of (mostly American) indie and Americana artists, confident that my ears will not be assaulted with the abomination that was Britpop.

If I wanted to hear that stuff I would go to V Festival where they would share billing with Jessie J and Ed Sheeran.

Surely Blur is not what EOTR is about?

Line-up pretty much done then, couple more for Friday, a special guest and then a couple of unannounced things on the Thursday and we are there. Enjoying Patrick Watson having never heard it before. Stoked for Woods and Gravenhurst. Savages could have a big year, EP is good. I have put off listening to Alt-J properly on the basis of their terrible, terrible name but if they have supported Wild Beasts then I will give them the benefit of the doubt. Zachary Cale sounds like Low Anthem-esque sub-Dylan blandness and King Charles are incredibly annoying. Creature... sound pretty cool. Don't know the others.

Really excited about Patrick Watson. Would have liked to have seen Ben Howard added to the line up seeing as he's available around the time of the festival, and his entire UK tour has sold out. Too small for the special guest I would have thought.

I would be very excited if Patti Smith is the Special Guest - the signs look good!

In the meantime really chuffed that Norwich band Olympians are playing - they are definitely a decent leftfield energetic indie group

Also Savages, Gravenhurst, Abi Wade and Big Wave all sound good

Whoever it was asking where to start with Patrick Watson ...

Close to Paradise, Wooden Arms and Adventures in Your Own Backyard are all fantastic albums ... but annoyingly for you I can never decide which is my favourite, depends on my mood a bit. "The Great Escape" and "Big Bird in a Small Cage" are two of my favourite tracks ever though ... and no doubt you've heard "To Build a Home" by Cinematic Orchestra (written and sung by him) all over the telly.

Generally he plays small intimate venues, the kind he can wander into the crowd and sing unplugged ... so I expect it will be a bit more of the noisier side of his music at a festival.

In case you hadn't guessed, I am super-chuffed either way.
