Joe-
He'll have to eventually repeat bookings, maybe for the 10th anniversary in 2014. Getting Chemical Brothers/Underworld/Massive Attack/Beastie Boys/Kraftwerk, etc. That'd be good. What about Plan B? Would be horrific, but may as well list him. hawkzred
New album coming out so possible; and the last album (although not to my taste) was acclaimed. Because Rob has such eclectic tastes it is really difficult to second guess him.
kaosmark2
Placebo have continued making announcements, including headlining a festival in Spain. I don't think we can rule them out yet.
Joe-
Oh god, and there's a gap in between August and the weekend after Bestival. Reckon they're most likely, unfortunately. Funnily enough, the festival they're headlining is called "Low Cost" festival, which is probably why Placebo are playing.
hawkzred
From The Cure and Bjork last year, Placebo would seem like a bit of a step down to me? Pendulum not so much!

hawkzred
Brian Wilson must have took some persuading too for his afternoon slot. Falls into the legends category (albeit past his best) and could not have been cheap! Edited March 22, 2012 by hawkzred
kaosmark2
I'd still be surprised if it's Placebo. I imagine Sigur Ros would go down better as a Bestival headliner than Placebo, they're probably bigger nowadays as well. It'd be a strange booking in my eyes, but I wouldn't be particularly disappointed. If I wanted to see huge acts I'd go to other fests, I want to see a nice range of good bands and the various other stuff, and Placebo would add some variety and put on a cracking live show. mrtourette
With a new album in the pipeline and on the back of their high-profile appearance at Glasto I'm surprised QOTSA aren't at any festivals this Summer, Bestival would be a good shout for their first headline slot. Joe-
I can't wait, not sure if I want to pressure you to say or not. I doubt you'll give it away anyway. From my previous requests/opinions, would I like it? O_O

Joe-
My excitement levels have really gone up since eFests has said that, my feet are sweating. A few newspapers who know the headliner have said it's amazing too. Oh maaaan.
eFestivals
Have we guessed it? soz, but I'm not going to get into answering those sorts of questions - sooner or later I'm likely to be presented with the act's name which then means I have to lie or say what I'm not meant to say. eFestivals
Am I sensing a bit of sarcasm from Neil? nope, no sarcasm. An extremely decent headline act.
Zacko
Oh sweet jesus my excitement has just gone through the roof. I wonder if it's a big act reforming or something along those lines, I don't know why I'm speculating actually, I have NO clue.
