Only bands that have ever played in my city (of note) are Wheatus, N-Dubz, Super Furry Animals, Electric Six, Supergrass, Enter Shikari and we used to have Takedown festival before it got moved to Southampton. Other than that we get tribute act after tribute act for 80's guff.

Yeah we've had N-Dubz, Wheatus and Electric Six too. Our arena barely gets anyone besides comedy acts or big renuion type acts either.

York has had a few decent bands here and there recently but aside from DZ Deathrays, Miles Kane, Pulled Apart By Horses, Madness, Pure Love and De La Soul we have not had that many. The only gigs the barbican seems to get are the X factor rejects -.-
