I'm going to be honest here but the new Lower Than Atlantis track actually surprised me and I enjoyed it, bit naff at some points but I think that it is decent enough

NME's review of The Orwells album states they're MUCH better on record than live.

I thought the album was surprisingly good as I'd always assumed they were more of a live act too. The author of that review wrote a review of one of their live shows in February and wasn't too impressed so that probably adds up.

They're very impressive live though, not listened to the album yet, plan on picking it up at some point this week though

Well that tour is an absolute bitch, the closest venue is just over 80 miles away

to be fair to them they're hardly in the best position to pull off a prolific UK tour, what with being from Aus and all

I thought the selection at the O2 academy wasn't bad. Better than the Sheffield one

Sheffield for me goes up and down with the amount of acts that come, when they come a lot of them do at one time then there is nothing. Loads decided to come down during exam time this year

Would like some more acts and Manchester and Nottingham are close but those trains are a pain in the neck (some days, there are no returns 11 so it is really annoying)

I considered applying to London and Birmingham because of that. But I didn't think I'd get in anywhere in London and didn't get the required AS grades for Brum damn it. And Newcastle is poo for gigs I think.
