Also I watched the Palma Violets set and it drastically changed my opinion of them, the bassist/lead singer seemed a little bit of a douche at first, but they're only a new band and I guess he wanted to make the most of it. They had a lot of energy and charisma on stage and pulled it off really well I thought.

Watched Johnny Marr too and that really cemented my choice of seeing Brand New over him, wasn't as good as I'd expected. Alt-J sounded good too, Foals were brilliant, thought Blur sounded a bit rubbish though.

Yeah I'm not into White Lies so I'm basing it on a Brand New/Johnny Marr clash, but it would be great if they didn't clash, I wouldn't mind seeing a bit of his set. His voice sounded a bit off last night, but he's just finished a tour and is pushing 50 I guess

I just flicked over to Baauer during this sound check and he has someone squirting the first couple of rows with a super soaker. Best not try that at Leeds - unless it's filled with gravy.

I'm enjoying it myself, only watching because I don't like Dropkick Murphy's, each to their own though, seems like Baauer's putting on a fun set though, crowd are enjoying themselves

He's really at the peak of his popularity here, shame he won't be at R+L. He's orchestrating a tent as big as NME full of fitted caps and vests with a towel over his head like some sort of Bro-Jesus.

Just watched Baauer the Harlem Shake looked pretty damn good when he dropped that at the end.

Aside from that though his set was pretty good lots of sampling, shame he's gonna be stuck with the tag of the harlem shake guy however that alone will guarantee him a huge crowd.
