Muchacho is my 2nd favorite album of the year so far behind opposites.

Absolutely beautiful album, but don't know enough about him to know if he even plays over here etc

Just noticed he's playing a couple of fests early Aug in Europe so maybe. Might just go to the Manchester show in May if the ruby lounge is easy to get to, anyone from Manchester know?

I wonder how weird it is for Biffy to be playing at 2 o'clock and only playing for half hour.

I know they're not a big ego band and used to play those kinda slots in the UK but it must be strange headlining a 20,000 capacity arena and playing for 2 hours and then 2 weeks later playing to 'no-one' for half hour in the middle of the afternoon

Absolutely ridiculous that they're playing to such a small crowd. Still, shows that they're true professionals by, as lightning1000 said, putting all this energy into it anyway.

He sounded genuinely upset, what did they play 7 songs? I would have been surprised if they'd played any pre-OR stuff, they probably played what the crowd was most likely to know

I think they only had mountains left to play. Id be pissed too if I'd flown overnight from Boston to California to play an 8 song set and they cut it short as the act before went over.

Word is that they were late on so I suppose it's only fair. That was a great show though - really good. Even though I wouldn't consider myself a Biffy fan; I'm strangely proud of them for going somewhere they're not massive, playing a lunchtime slot to a couple of hundred people and absolutely ripping it up.
