I've seen greenday 9 times before over the years. Wasn't fussed about missing them because their show is pretty formulaic after you've seen it so much. Hey Ho, crowd on stage, toilets paper gun, water pistols, fancy dress for king for a day/shout etc. However there's some songs on dookie I've never heard live before which has gotten be insanely excited. Fod for one and chump for another. I don't mind skrillex on record and was curious more than anything as I've never seen him live. If greenday open with dookie then ill still go see him, if they save it till later ill watch all of greenday

There aren't massive changes at Reading, dance stage remains in the same position while the Lock Up moves to the other side and looks like they've pushed the corners out slightly to accomodate the extra stages and the new entrance/exit.

V have managed to get Rev & the Makers in at short notice, to fill up a slot that had become available when Steve Angello, OCS and Scouting For Girls all moved a slot. They could easily get someone either on double duty who is on one of the other stages later on, or PABH who are doing the DJ set at Leeds, or any other small name who I'm sure would manage at two weeks notice. Or the lesser cop out of extending sets a bit. Just seems strange to have a massive gap

I remember when Carter USM headlined the Melody Maker tent in '95 Jimbob played in a wheelchair as he put his back out cleaning the bath a couple of weeks beforehand.

And yes I am acutely aware that the names Carter USM, Jimbob and Melody Maker probably don't mean anything to a young 'un like yourself :P
