There is no rule of law in Scotland just a shower of be-wigged bastards who are a self-serving ruling class who keep the people back and down.

I hope you're not making a mental health diagnosis, otherwise you'll be asked to validate your authority, then attacked when you do as requested. And have your ethics questioned, because 'accusing' someone of being mentally ill is reprehensible. Being mentally ill is obviously something akin to being a paedophile.

And I hope you're not displaying any sympathy towards people with mental health issues, otherwise you'll be accused of being self-righteous.

But as long as you're using mental health issues as an insult, and to take the piss, apparently that's OK.

The evil Queen bombs Nigerian churches for Christmas

BBC: Nigeria churches hit by blasts during Christmas prayers

_57568285_nigeria_madalla_2512.cmp.gif

A series of bomb attacks in Nigeria, including two on Christmas Day church services, have left at least 32 people dead and many injured.

The Islamist group Boko Haram said it carried out the attacks, including one on St Theresa's Church in Madalla, near the capital Abuja, that killed 27.

A second explosion shortly after hit a church in the central city of Jos. A policeman died during gunfire.

Three attacks in northern Yobe state left four people dead.

Two hit the town of Damaturu, and a third struck Gadaka. Yobe state has been the epicentre of violence between security forces and Boko Haram militants.

Churches bombed by royal command

The evil Queen Elizabeth in association with allied royals in the Saudi royal family allowed the orders to go out from Mecca to terrorists in Nigeria - "bomb Nigerian churches for Christmas".

As at least 32 Nigerians were killed and many injured by royal command, Queen Elizabeth broadcast her Christmas lies on TV thanks to the gullible fools in the BBC and other TV channels.

Hey media fools - no the Queen is not a good Christian and no she is not a good leader of the Commonwealth to be implicated in terrorist crimes against the people!

Royalist terrorists are waging war on believers and on members of the Commonwealth, killing innocents while the UK royal family and royal families all over the world are making merry and generally living lives of privilege and safety.

In order to guarantee true believers of all faiths the freedom to worship in peace and safety then all evil royal families throughout the world who do abuse religion to incite terrorists to kill and to terrorise the people into bowing down to royalty must be overthrown in favour of democratic republics.

(1) No they are not waging war.

(2) Why oh why do you believe their lives are more privileged. Maybe I'm wrong but I suspect most people would hate to trade places with them. Can you imagine not having ANY privacy. Can you imagine having to meet tedious politicians, boring captains of industry, etc etc. I reckon if the Queen sees one more Maori dance or similar then she may well start waging war, and who could blame her. I am not a royalist by any method of measurement but their family has really got the shitty end of the stick as far as I can see.

I agree. I'm not a fan of the monarchy, but I've nothing against the Royals themselves, they were just born into a pre-existing situation. Yes, I know they could abdicate, but I'm sure they've been totally indoctrinated with the importance of public duty from a very young age.

I couldn't be doing with all the pomp and ceremony, and the artificiality and superficiality of their public personas. What sort of freedom do they themselves have?

and in terms of jumping in to your own helicopter to get to the best doctors in the world, and never having to pay for anything, owning large parts of the country...the LAND that should be everyone's, and well... I could go on

I'm on my 4th of 5 x 12 hour shifts that started christmas eve..

how priveleged am I then?

I failed to express myself properly - yes they do have privelege, but at what cost? They don't have the same liberties that many of us can enjoy. What's more is that they don't get a choice either. They are born into this stifling existence. I'm just saying that owning a helicopter and vast tracks of land isn't necessarily the bees knees when you have very limited freedom.

on that, I agree. Who knows what it must be like?

... and they'll never know what it's like to worry about whether you're going to earn enough to pay the heating bill, or whether you'll have a pension that is enough to keep you in basics

lots of things would be different if we thought like Peter. Me? I dread such a prospect (of us all thinking like him).

    • Brazil's first half was genuinely dreadful all round, not just the midfield, so they're absolutely not bulletproof. Whether Scotland have the quality to take advantage is a different question.   Tbf, that's as much on Morocco looking good, which I did think was a possibility. They could be a bit annoyed with themselves not to have scored more before Vini's goal tbh.
    • Surely nowadays with so much data analytics available on every division in world football and so much awareness that people aren't suckered in on the basis of a decent World Cup game... right?   Although tbf, from what I saw, Australia's game plan worked very well. But that was as much thanks to Turkey blowing varying opportunities given they created enough chances but couldn't finish, a la what happened with Switzerland against Qatar when they really could and should've won by 3/4 goals.
    • I missed Viagra Boys for a good spot for Gorillaz. Was a nice weekend and festival for me. Would definitely come back, if the line up is right. Get back home safe everyone.
    • The Last Temptation - new Heaven 17 documentary film directed by James Strong. Premiered at Sheffield Docfest this weekend.    I really enjoyed it. Affectionate, insightful, and honest. A nice mix of archival and footage, interviews and clips from the last tour. Martyn and Glenn are like an old married couple.   Plus a snippet of news from the Q&A, Martyn is recording new BEF material, and Phil Oakey has collaborated on the one of tracks. The film shows them meeting in Fagans for the first time in over 35 years.
