A couple of journalists on the radio today have stated that Arry has been a success everywhere he has ever been. I think I must have imagined a spell at southampton or is it inconvenient to forget the truth.

As for comparing Hodgson with Kenny even forgetting the cups, the fact is that Kenny is a legend at the club and because of that you get a bit more credit in the back and a bit more time. This isnt anything specific to liverpool, Chelsea fans would be the same if Zola was the manager, Newcastle fans gave Shearer an easy ride when he was a manager. I also dont understand the need to categorise liverpools season as good or bad. Surely thats too simplistic to look at a season. To me liverpool have been good in the cups but not good enough in the league, this makes it a mixed season. Some teams I think will go forward and others regress, to be honest Im 50/50 with liverpool but dont think that would merit making a change at the top.

Predctions for the derby game?? Im going for a cagy 0-0 draw.

Haha. Just don't like the myths being passed round as fact in a bid to slag a man off.

But yeah, he's never really managed in Europe so will be interesting... Depends who comes in during the summer though. As for not all cracked up to be, weren't you suggesting we should give everyone 5 years earlie :D;)

3-1 Citeh.

Aguero, Tevez, Aguero.

Red card for a Utd player.

But Utd have been doing this for 20 years so Im being conservative with my prediction.

Believe!!

Blackburn fan runs into Steve Kean in Greggs.

Raging. Trying to watch the City v Utd game on the xbox. Turns out Sky can't handle any amount of traffic. FFS. Looks like I might have to head down the pub - not that I'd usually complain, but I was settled down dammit!!

Im glad city won, over the season man utd havent been good enough to deserve a coronation with 2 games to go. Newcastle away is tough but winnable as their season has been built on being very consistent against the average and poor sides, but not great against the good ones.

I thought city were fantastic in defence, even Lescott who doesnt always convince me was impressive. I thought Man Utds midfield looked really tired, watching Yaya in the second half I kept thinking how much they could do with a player like him.

Where was Evans tonight? I know he was shit against Everton but still... And yeah thought Park was an odd one. I saw his record when playing this season has been pretty dreadful and Wellbeck's been on form. Mind you, sure you can forgive the old bastard for the odd mistake!

Two big games left, though I have a feeling one side might bottle it next week. No idea which.

    • Yeah, shambles if so.   Also a shame for the festival if it's that rather than money.    Sure more will come out in due course. I was (and still am) hoping she'd do it, selfishly.
    • Interesting that'd be the reason - given that there were reports citing that as the reason a few years ago as well.   You'd think that they (meaning both sides) would learn..
    • I gather the later you arrive the further away from the entrance to the festival you are?
    • Hope they skip the fireworks and the burning of the man this year tbh, seemed dodgy last year with all the reports of embers and this year is drier. Don't want to be a killjoy but it's only a big bonfire at the end of the day.    May also need extra care with BBQ and gas stoves etc, always worries me slightly in the campervan field where vans are very very close together!    Not had campervan pass in the mail yet either.   Looking forward to the beer festival and enjoying a few pints while taking in some mellow tunes in the walled garden if the sun carries on shining like this 😎
    • Haha yeah maybe not the best comparison as Gavin seems a good lad. It was to express how he's usually spot-on with his information
