I was very naively hanging onto blind stupid faith that something terrible had happened and they might have made incapable of producing their usual shite and been banished to history along with the ordinary boys, razorlight and fall out boy.

Because they're arrogant and come across in their interviews as 'the new Oasis' but without the music or character to back it up or make it interesting. They're just a gang of young gobshites running their mouths off.

Arent most rock stars arrogant? Why is it so wrong that they would like to be the biggest band in the world? Most rock bands have the same dream. They do get unnecessary hate. And although their music isnt groundbreaking, it's certainly not as bad as people make out.

I like their music, good fun Pop-Rock reminiscent of Britpop, and having seen them they're actually a good live band, but they don't need the attitude because it doesn't work with a bunch of middle-class lads from Berkshire who come across as nice when they're not pretending to mouth off.

he didn't say that, My band is quite good mates with them lot because we played with kill the arcade a few times and i have asked him about this. Just to add they're good live and they're just like marmite. I think the good thing about them is it's like you're listening to oasis and blur's greatest hits all in one album. I personally love it!

I'd say it's the lack of originality, poor music, arrogance and the fact that they've changed their appearance and music a few times and the impression that gives of being desperate to be successful. Any one of those would look bad but put them all together and you get the hatred that a lot of people have for the band.

    • See them in these small venues now while you can.
    • good move - got to start saying No to these prices or nothing will change
    • Are there any shaded areas to take a break from the strong sun? Yes, i think there is some.    Theres loads of trees on the island where you can find shade… They have already erected a few domes in the Island but whether they will be cooler or green houses is as yet unknown 🙃…..weather forecast isn’t too hot currently….im more worried its gonna rain at this moment.
    • I Paid £30 for the lightning Seeds a year or so ago   so. the value for money on this is incredible
    • Never too early to start discussing next year’s headliners right?   I’m not attending this year so thought I’d get the ball rolling as I saw Weezer have a new album out in August I’d expect them to do this or Slam Dunk next year. I mean they’re probably too big for this however I think they’re niche enough that they would maybe do it, it just depends on if the fee is a bit out of range for trees.    It’ll be the 20th anniversary next year so I’d expect some throwbacks and hopefully some big headliners/acts. James has already said he’s made a mad booking that you wouldn’t guess & I think he mentioned that he’s spent something like 80% of this years budget of next years top line already on last weeks 2 promoters 1 pod (Don’t quote me on that).    I reckon they’ll try for and get at least two (not all) of the following - Enter Shikari, AFI, Weezer, Sex Pistols Feat Frank Carter, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls
