Didn't Plan B play 3rd in 2011? I thought he'd be deserving of a bump up. Plus I'm not sure if Rihanna would sub if she's headlining T, and I'm not sure if Deftones would play Glasto (too R&L). Also The xx are too big for John Peel.

Plan B's a weird one, as last time he played he was promoting his sing-alongy album, whereas now he's promoting his Ill Manors album which is very different, and wouldn't go down as well on the Pyramid so high up. i don't think he'll be there again. too early (especially to repeat an artist to high up on the Pyramid) unless he takes a lower slot - maybe second on Other

and yeah The xx are far too big for John Peel. subbing, or even headlining, Other seems right

I'd be surprised if The Stones didn't close the weekend to be honest, I'm going for Arctic Monkeys on Friday, Jay-Z/Kanye on Saturday and The Stones on Sunday.

I think (and hope!) Mumford and Sons are more likely to headline Reading/Leeds.

"Swedish electronic duo the Knife will release the long-awaited follow-up to their 2006 breakout album "Silent Shout" next spring. "Shaking The Habitual" will be released April 9. According to a press release, "Shaking The Habitual" will be supported by live dates in Europe next year."

Another possibility as other stage headliners, speaking of swedish bands, would be SHM. They're doing their last tour atm which currently ends in march, but they probably need some big pay day gigs in between to make it happen. Kraftwerk will definitely not headline on Friday, since they're booked on the 28th in Malta. They got the massive 3d show thingy, which should rule them out all togheter.

i can't imagine Swedish House Mafia playing Glasto even if they weren't finished... just crosses that little bit too much into the Creamfields-esque-act for my liking. and also, i honestly can't think of the last time i was so infuriated / sick of a song than that Don't You Worry Child. terrible. just terrible
