I know you're probably thinking, oh no, not you again, but you gotta move up to the park on the day if you want to see who it is and get some (possible) satisfaction.

At the end of the day during those special guest slots, we'll either go or not go, we'll either be kicking ourselves or be glad. Its your choice. Be a potted shrimp or a little red lobster!

For what it's worth, I sat next to Jarvis and Candida Doyle on a train to Sheffield recently. They were with another friend of their's and talked through their whole tour in between doing a cryptic crossword. Didn't mention Glasto once, but that proves nothing.

Jarvis said Richard Hawley really wanted to tour with them but was recording a new album.

I can't think that Glasto didn't try to get Pulp for one of the big slots and were thwarted by the Reading Leeds contract (ME pretty much said as much). IMO if Pulp played unannounced there would be a stampede and serious safety concerns.

So... I could see Jarvis and Richard Hawley a la Thom and Jonny, Last Shadow Puppets...

    • I'm surprised they risked it, especially after nearly missing their Glasto 22 slot under similar circumstances  I did see someome say Ellie didnt sound as strong as recently but I'm guessing playing 3 shows in 2 different continents doesnt help that    On the topic though I can definitely see them doing a Fontaines and having a break over winter before a few final Clearing shows next summer
    • That's fair on WA - I did recall people thinking Fontaines would take this year off before this was announced.    On the subject of Wolf Alice, they did Lollapalooza in Chicago on Saturday then Kendal Calling last night. Bit of an odd choice, no? Half imagine at Kendal that they would've been just exhausted.
    • Just logged onto the app to start planning my days and there really are a LOT of stages missing. Apart from the Seaside Stage there is no Casemates this year etc. Apart from the Seaside Stage, there are no Casemates this year, etc. Can't see anything about the kids field really. And there's local acts that are normally there like Kojak's Revenge that aren't appearing either.  Normally we get down fairly early but I can't see anything before 3pm I'm keen to see. Only one real clash as well, which is good, but it's thin and it's not thin in the sense of "I've seen a lot of these acts before"
