Good breakfast places

The bakery is usually located near to the Acoustic/Cinema field and opposite the Kidz Field on the right hand side of the track if you are heading from the meeting point towards Ped gate C.

Always reasonably priced cakes, bread and savoury snacks.

The Common Ground cafe in the Acoustic Field do lots of nice things for breakfast, juices, granola, omelette rolls etc. Quite pricey but very good. They weren't there for a couple of years (a little tiff about their alleged anti-semitism I believe) but were back last year I think. Go and argue it out with them over breakfast.

Try Hills Dorset smokery, located between Williams Green and West Holts, near the bridge. Serves great smoked bacon and egg bagels and fantastic smoked salmon wraps. Mmmmm cant wait!

And for lunch their 'Princess' is a hot smoked salmon wrap with smoked brie, salad, lemon mayo etc etc, awesome.

The crepe stand in the green fields is amazing, strawberries and cream on a pancake, also manic organic is said to be good for breakfasts according to my parents. Also went for a wonder one morning and near the pyramid stage there is a really lovely fresh fruit stall, had a nice big slice of watermelon. Yummmm

Can't believe no one has mentioned Manic Organic yet! :O That's my most favourite breakfast place at Glastonbury...even my non-veggie friends think it's the best. Homemade tomato sauce, potatoes, some strange but nice fried mixture & a huge chunk of bread...yom yom yom! :D

Is on the main stretch just below the railway track, opposite the Greenpeace area.

The Breakfast place in Pennards was ok if you're just looking for a no nonsense fry up. Strangely on the other side of the same tent was a chinese.

Quite liking the sound of a few of these other places, will definately be giving a few of them a try.

I deff need to go to some of the better food places, i somehow manage to just endup getting crap from burger vans or that fish and chip shop stand by the pyramid - rubbish fish and chips

did anyone else have a kangaroo burger, I thought I got it in Shangri-La..but cant be 100%?

i'm really stunned and quite impressed at how everyone can remember the names of individual eateries at glasto. i can't even remember what i had for breakfast at glasto in previous years let alone the name of the place where i bought it from!

this year i need to eat more healthily, so no growler for me... well, probably until i stumble past their stall at random and remember how lovely they are.

    • If you didn't see melt banana at Apolo. Go see them at the festival. Insane.
    • Interesting, and thanks for coming back to give an update! I've seen that the second stage looks bigger than usual too, looks to be a Serious Stages - Stellar Stage from distance photos.    Seems like sizing wise stages have been scaled up somewhat this year.
    • I see its cancelled now but they did leave it really late to announce plus they are up against Kelburn Garden Party Festival not to far from the festival site.
    • Easily my favourite set of the day.
