I still find it just a wee bit odd that a Canadian 'superfan' gets to meet his idol backstage in Chicago, and decides to ask if she is playing a festival in England that he presumably isn't going to / has never been to / might not have even heard of.... I highly doubt that she'll officially confirm it yet. You have to remember that he won the competition because he's a superfan, so he'll be interested in every gig she plays etc. etc. Glastonbury's not exactly an unknown festival, so I think it'll be on the radar, and it's quite an obscure thing to make up if not.

a real shame. but she is charging $100 for every single ticket for her NY gig in a few weeks time, at a standing room only venue which usually is reasonably priced, and at which i have tix for gigs next week priced for $16 (Joy Formidable) and $28 (Mogwai). I'm sure she would have been expecting a big Hard Rock-like payday for Glasto. the Eagles, the Macs, they're all about the same thing...

i was expecting her in the Jackson Browne slot on the saturday.
