Ugh, if The Strokes play Reading I will definitely have to get a day ticket for that. There's no way I could miss it, they'll be unbelievable.

If eavis manages to book them I will hunt him down at Glasto and lick the sweat off his head before smothering him in kisses.

It would be a great haul. Make it happen Mikey boy.

Really? Will they? They're a great band and I'd definitely be happy to see them at Glastonbury (although I can't see it happening) but I've seen them live three times and they've been underwhelming at best. Wouldn't pay to see them again. Saying that I thought Julian Casablancas turned in a very good set on JP last year.

Saw Julian at JP last year and he did a really good set, would love Eavis forever if he booked them! Really excited for Under Cover of Darkness being released. Not entirely sure on the chances of them for glasto though so trying to convince my mates to come Leeds with me cause I reckon they'll definitely be there

Ryan Gentles the Stokes manager has said they will be doing US shows in June.

The Strokes are set to release their new album ' Angles' on March 21. Gentles wrote: "We're in the process of lining up some U.S. dates in June and some European dates in July... stay tuned for more details on these dates and the new album."
