Michael@Hebden
Certainly would be if Viv Stanshall was still around.
Big Vern
I'd take Jean Michelle Jarre over Mike Oldfield

anoldhippie@60
I saw MO doing Incantations at Wembley April 26th 1979. Really enjoyed it. Have not seen him perform since though. I must admit that some of his stuff was a little bit naff.
DrWackadoodle
The early stuff would be magical ... the later stuff would be dross.
Pinhead
He was at the Wembley Conference Centre on 26th apparently, but at the Arena on the 28th Played Knebworth Fairy Park Festival in 21/06/1980 and 1982/07/03 Kobenhavn Roskilde Open Air Festival in 03/07/1982, and his last 'festival' in Denmark in 1999. Not a guy keen on touring - anyone who manages to book him has been pretty fortunate I suspect.

Popsider75
Excellent shout I would be well up for Mike Oldfield. Got all his albums up to Platinum. Bit of a guilty pleasure of mine. Never seen him live.

anoldhippie@60
Sadly no. According to mikeoldfield.org Mike & Universal have denied rumours that he will appear. A massive shame that.
TwistedReligion
Thought there was talk of Noel Harrison being on the 71 stage as well. Slightly confused now Hope Steve Hillage plays twice instead.. Edited April 14, 2011 by TwistedReligion
