Soni news coming?

The official soni twitter said today that with everyone else announcing suppose we better had as well, we will have something within a few weeks. They also said - when they heard 'f**k a duck you got them to play!'.

Myself i think theyre trying to bide sum time from punters not to buy download tix, but we'll see. A few weeks is xmas, and people will have other things on their mind.

It has to be soon. Reading and Download are their main competitors really (UK wise) and they are both making announcements. So they'd be totally bonkers not to be making sure they do too. Some of us can afford to do two festies, but most people only do one. You have to get in quick to get people's interest. That is obviously why Download are announcing next week when previously they have waited til like February!!

You mean the same sonisphere that got 2 announcements including all 3 headliners out before January 2010 last year

Which is much earlier than any other festival. So stop spouting rubbish

Anyways, the announcement is supposed to be in the next week or two, they'll announce it when they are ready too, no point in having a half arsed first announcement when it's not ready just cause download has had theirs super early. And I don't think that twitter response was supposed to buy them time and to put people of download, it's their job to hype up the festival of course.

Oooh exciting. I doubt it will be Ozzy as all the headliners are booked now. And Ozzy wouldn't be less than a headliner. Prodigy maybe as Pendulum played last year.
