f**k me that's awesome. Time to ramp up the pressure on my mates to commit so I can get on with buying tickets....

I guess if we start counting indoor gigs as festivals then it might not be correct.

I know ATP call themselves a festival, but its not in my opinion.

I'm considering coming to Bestival... For people who have previously been what else is there to do asides the music? It sounds like good fun and the line up looks good this year. Was going to go to Leeds but the Line up for this is much better. I mean The Cure headlining alone has pretty much sold me the ticket. Who do we think the third headliner will be?

I wouldn't be too fussed if it was Bjork and I had DJ Shadow elsewhere. As much as I like her, I'd much prefer to see somebody like DJ Shadow if it came to it - and I'm not too fussed about Fatboy Slim either.

Overall, I'm not being biased but we've got the best line-up that features the most great bands hands down. If the line-up alone isn't worth the price of the ticket then I don't know what is, but I'm pretty sure in answer to the other guy's question there's a few spots on the Bestival website that gives all of the details of what to expect this year, and if there isn't then there'll probably be something on there about what was going on (aside from music) in 2010.

While you're at it, go over to the Bestival forums. I can't recommend that place enough for a positive vibe.

The best(ival) English festival line up this year.

I'll go now...

Edit- Just counted 61 acts I would like to see with 19 definites. Hopefully I'll catch some of them at Glasto so I won't be running around the arena all day!

    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
