Alcohol!

I've been to Reading and T In The Park but never Glasto. So excited I got tickets in the dying minutes of my forth hour of trying! :D

I know you won't be allowed to take alcohol into the area with the bands (knowingly) but what about the other fields I've heard about?

Glasto has so much going on. Hoping to go up Wednesday and wondering can we take cans everywhere? There are fields that are purely for entertainment like the circus field. I'm totally going by what I've heard and wanted some answers from some experienced Glatoners.

Advice plz!!!!

Much love

No glass obviously.

The only restriction really (supposedly) is the amount you can take in (numbers of crates etc can raise an eyebrow apparently). But these days, tbh, you dont really see much in the way of people selling cans on like people used to in the early 00s and before.

And this year just gone, after the heat, there was an awful lot of crates being taken back to people's cars at the end!

Hi Sam

You seem to be young, naive and female. It is a glastonbury tradition that all first timers have to get up on their friends shoulders and whip their top off during at least three seperate bands at the pyramid stage. You will get extra points if you jiggle around a bit too.

Thanks.

The monorail thing has now officially become unamusing. When Nelly first came up with it, it was a moment of brilliance. But now, slowly, that horse has been flogged so much that it's not so much dead, but it's reincarnation has been dead for a while too.

Just leave it alone.
