Box/bag of Red Wine may seem like a good idea , but the contents usually taste like dirt. Better to buy a couple of bottles of nice wine and decant into a two litre water bottle to bring in with you.

A nice glass of wine with your growler really brings it to life..

I will have to try your recommendations, the stuff I had was not great although the rose was ok..

Plus the silver bag also made a nice cooling face cover when lying in the hot sun last year..

Boxes of Red wine and big bottles of coke. Decant 50/50 into empty water bottles with a sports cap - kalimotxo I up!

As thy got decent cider which wun set me bk 2 far I'm not 2 worried bout supplyin my own alcohol. I will be supplyin my own jaeger bombs tho!! Think thas spelt right

Lack of gates/security/boundaries between the different stages and the camping etc is definitely one of the very best things about Glastonbury.

And being able to carry your drinks around with you is one excellent aspect of this.

The problem with Brothers is that if you are somewhere like The Park or the John Peel then you have about a 1 hour round trip to buy a pint, including a huge rugby scum to reach the bar itself. I try to grab a few pints whenever I'm over that area of the festival but its not often enough.
