I don't have the time nor the inclination to teach stupid little boys about respect to others - and I'm not meaning him ridiculing me, but the fact that he was ridiculing me because he objected to me asking that the sexism stops.

Oh course you can. Why would you think you couldn't in a weather thread?

The issue is the constant an unnecessary posting of picture of women only for the sexist value of them. This is not a boys-only forum; such things offend many of the people here.

I'm not so unrealistic to be expecting perfection, but when it becomes as constant as it did, why does anyone think it wrong of me to ask that it stops?

I dont think there will be any more inappropriate pictures posted from now on, although I think there were more of that sort of picture posted last year which never seemed to be a problem. Lets get on topic. NFR NFC!!

Sexism is no less wrong this year than it was last year. The only difference is this year I've made greater efforts to stop it.

now i see it slightly different, what i see in this thread are German pictures........the actual content is not the impotant thing..

yeah, of course - it was merely coincidence that the majority were of scantily dressed women.

I dont see how a pic of a german woman is sexist? By posting them we are not saying "men are better than women"

hopefully devonhammer will still be able to/want to post updates, was good having someone able to do that who had some genuine knowledge on the subject, altho i didnt like th pictures put up either as not 'work safe' hopefully we can all forget it and carry on sensibly

I think things were escalating. Last year it was pleasant pictures of Oktoberfest girls showing a bit of cleavage. This year the ante has been upped, to glamour models wearing nothing but body paint. It went too far, and now it has to stop altogether.

For the record, I think "sexist" is the wrong word, but it's still inappropriate for this forum.
